  • The colour scheme relates to her relaxed, friendly content. The pink shades links to her primarily female audience.
  • Her logo 'Zoella' uses a casual, pretty font once again reflecting the content she produces.
  • Many of her recent photos she uses have a similar feel- they all look relatively professional and mostly feature bright colours.

First impressions:
  • Looks similar to other newspapers or magazines online, the white background and clear layout shows this.
  • Straight away it is clear that the magazine is focused on the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Has a clear link to subscribe to the magazine.
  • Has links to the potentially the main themes of the magazine: news, entertainment, community, boys, opinion, style, travel, active, theatre, competitions, subscribe.
  • The font is clear and bold, contrasting with Zoe's.
  • Doesn't have a trademarked colour scheme, the page uses mostly black and white.
  • When you hoover over the different tabs they form a rainbow through the colours, giving a subtle nod to the rainbow symbol often used for the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Post very often under the different areas of the website.
